What the light is saying.
The MusicBox has no screen: its light bar tells you what it is doing. Here is every color, what it means, and what you can do.
At startup
Animation paused (reduced motion): the text describes it.
Green and blue, filling bar
The MusicBox is starting. Each green LED is a finished step, the next one breathes blue while it loads. When all eight are green, it is ready.
What to do: Wait for it to finish, it takes less than a minute. A blue LED blinking instead of breathing just means the step is taking longer, often the Wi-Fi connection.

Orange, two quick blinks

What to do: Link it to a playlist from the app.
Brief: 1 s

Blue, slow breathing
The MusicBox is waiting for a card to link to the playlist chosen in the app.
What to do: Lay the card flat on the MusicBox, not on the phone.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Animation paused (reduced motion): the text describes it.
Magenta, slow blink
The MusicBox has no Wi-Fi: it is not set up yet, or it cannot reach your network. It has opened its own Wi-Fi network, named TMB followed by four characters, so you can set it up. On a MusicBox that was never set up, the Bluetooth blue comes first, for about a minute.
What to do: Set up the Wi-Fi from the app, or connect to the MusicBox's TMB network. The light stops as soon as it is connected.

Animation paused (reduced motion): the text describes it.
Blue, slow blink
The MusicBox is visible over Bluetooth and is waiting for the app to set it up. With no app after about a minute, it stops: if it has no Wi-Fi, magenta takes over.
What to do: Open the app on your phone, close to the MusicBox, and add it.
