Lending or giving away your MusicBox
Before lending or giving away a MusicBox, free it up: it forgets your Wi-Fi and your phones, and the next person pairs it like a new one.
From the app
Open the MusicBox's page and tap "Unpair this device", then "Reset the box and remove". The MusicBox forgets its Wi-Fi, its pairings and its name, then restarts ready to be set up. Its settings, such as the colors, are kept.
If the MusicBox cannot be reached at that moment, the app removes it from your list, but the reset is not done: use the buttons instead.
With the buttons
Without the app, the button gesture does the same and also erases the settings: it is the full reset of the MusicBox.
What is erased, and what stays
From the app: the Wi-Fi, the Bluetooth pairings and the name. With the buttons: the same, plus the settings.
Kept: the music, the playlists and the paired cards, because they are on the microSD card.
For the next person
They install the app and pair the MusicBox with its verification code, which does not change: it is on the label on the back. If you built the MusicBox yourself, give them that code, which the Software page shows when the MusicBox is plugged into it over USB. There is no account to transfer.
